RIESLING. STEIN. ORIGIN.

My wines are made where Stein and Krems become most compelling: on steep terraces shaped by gneiss, schist and lean soils.

Riesling is at the centre of my work. I farm my vineyards biodynamically, harvest by hand and give the wines what they need most in the cellar: time.

Steiner Pfaffenberg, Steiner Schreck, Steiner Hund, Steiner Gaisberg, Steiner Kögl, Steiner Braunsdorfer, Steiner Grillenparz and Steiner Goldberg. Alongside them is Ried Klaus in the Wachau.

Every site has its own character. That difference is exactly what I want the wine to show.
